Thoughts on the Book:

I always have a fun time reading historical romance novels. I find it informative and I'm quite fascinated by the traditions back then that I feel like I'm time travelling to their time.

A Knight in Shining Armor is so far, the best historical romance novel I've read. Jude Deveraux made a wonderful job incorporating the modern world with the Elizabethan era. I love the time travelling twist.

The plot is very detailed. It was described thoroughly. All in all, it was well-researched. From the buildings, to how they regard their children, the equality of men and women, how even the most common diseases can cause death, how men and women marry who their parents choose, the fashion of their age, and how men and women wear their clothes.

The time travelling pare was really good. I love how Deveraux shifts the time. I especially love it when Dougless went to the Elizabethan era.

I find Nicholas funny. I can't help but laugh when he questioned how things work, especially the clothes which he wasn't accustomed wearing. (who would wear their pants without boxers or brief right?)

Dougless is an adorable character. I find her cute, charming, and intelligent. I like how knowledgeable she is with the history. Knowing that she wasn't perfect and that she accepts her flaws just added spice to her character.

Somehow, I knew how the story might end. And I guessed it right. Dougless met another man in an airplane and I think he's the reincarnation of Nicholas Stafford.

I super love this books and I'm adding all the other Montgomery series to my to-read list
