Thoughts on the Book
This book is so romantic that I can't put it down. I slept late just to finish it.
I love how McNaught wrote Alexandra and Jordan's love story. I like how she added a little bit of suspense towards the end. I like how she established the characters.
My favorite character in this book is the dowager duchess, Jordan's grandmama. Every time I try to imagine how the characters might look like, I always see Meryl Streep as the Grandmama. I find her amusing though she's reserved. Her character is quite strong and most of the time she speaks meanly. I guess it's a way of showing that even though she's a woman, she should be treated with respect and not taken for granted.
Jordan Townsend is rather the most charming character among the guys in the trilogy. He is my favorite among them.
I just find it funny how ignorant women were back then when it came to baby making. LOL! Even grade schoolers today know how it's done. I realize how different this generation is from the generation back then.
This is a must read for the avid readers of historical romance. I love it. If you have enjoyed reading Once and Always, then you'll enjoy this one too. This is my favorite among the trilogy.
